"The calendar displays a collection of the Filipino Family Histories of Pajaro Valley, collected and produced by the Tobera Project in 2021. On the front page, there is a photograph of the Filipino Women's Club Watsonville 1966, in the front row from left to right: Rosing Tabasa, Trining Vengua, Esther Tabancay, Nena Alminan, Laura Aquino, Connie Ramirez, Lita (Tana) Tabios. In the back row from left to right: Martha Galimba, Gloria Madrazo, Rosemary Riotutar, Pering Damasco, Aurora Esteban, Estelita Ramirez Florez, Mary Ragsac, Virginia Sulay. This calendar dedicates one month to a special topic from the Watsonville community, such as the history of the 1930 Watsonville Race Riots, Philippine Gardens Cafe, and The Filipino Women's Club of Watsonville alongside the histories of the Nobel family, Lazo family, Baniaga family, Tabancay family, Cawaling family, DeOcampo family, Leon J. Lazo, Ragsac Family, Florendo Family, and Haduca family. The stories featured in the calendar are written by descendants of the Pajaro Valley manong and manang generation. The photographs are from family archives.
