Description

This is a black and white portrait of Imelda "Melda" Sulay in her nursing uniform, taken in the Philippines. When this photograph was taken, Melda was too old to immigrate to America with the rest of her family. The back of the photograph is captioned: "To my loving grandpa, There's your grand-daughter who you're sacrificing for. Please take good care of yourself so that you are able to take the fruit of your many endeavors. Love you always, Melda."
